This creative therapy initiative in Sri Lanka is dedicated to supporting children with intellectual disabilities through expressive arts, focusing on dance and music. From Monday to Thursday, the centre welcomes 11 children, and on Fridays, the group expands to include children who are deaf, bringing the total to 30 participants. While dance remains central, the program also incorporates activities such as drawing and painting. Volunteers assist local teachers in delivering these sessions, fostering social inclusion and personal development among the children. By engaging in this program, volunteers contribute to a nurturing environment that celebrates creativity and diversity!
