Volunteer work in Ghana

This school was founded by Patricia, one of the founders of Volunteer Worldwide, together with the team from the Kidz Active Foundation. It’s our very own school in Ghana! This is a truly inspiring education project located in northern Ghana. Northern Ghana is the poorest region of the country, with Tamale as its capital. The level of education in this area is low, resulting in relatively high illiteracy rates and limited English language skills, usually only at a basic level. Many children from surrounding villages don’t attend school due to a lack of financial resources for education. By volunteering here, you’ll be helping break the cycle of poverty through education, empowering children with knowledge, and truly making a lasting difference in their lives and futures.
