Swimming & sunbathing: Relax in warm water and unwind on the beach, perfect for chilling out and enjoying the views.

Kayaking & sailing: Paddle around the lake, take in the scenery, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Fishing: Try your hand at fishing, whether you’re going traditional or just doing it for fun.
Hiking: Head out on the trails around the lake, where you’ll discover incredible views and unique wildlife.
Cultural experience: Visit local villages and get a glimpse into traditional life, from fishing practices to craftwork.

Day 1: Iringa to Lake Ngosi

06:00 AM: Early start and a scenic drive from Iringa with beautiful views of rolling hills and lush greenery.
12:30 PM: Arrive at Lake Ngosi, welcome drink, and a brief intro to the area.
1:00–1:30 PM: Explore the area, including ancient rock art and Iron Age ruins.
2:00–5:00 PM: Go for a hike, taking in the local wildlife and plants.
5:30 PM: Head to Matema Beach, with scenic views along the way.
7:00 PM: Check-in to your beachside accommodation.
8:00 PM: Dinner with fresh seafood and local dishes while enjoying the sounds of the lake.

Day 2: Matema Beach

7:30 AM: Breakfast with fresh fruit, homemade bread, and stunning lake views.
9:00 AM-12:00 PM: Snorkel, kayak, or just explore the clear waters of Lake Malawi.
12:00-1:00 PM: Lunch with a view, perfect for relaxing and refuelling.
1:00-3:00 PM: Visit a local fishing village and learn about their way of life.
3:00-5:00 PM: Relax on the beach, swim, or enjoy some downtime.
5:00-6:30 PM: Sunset cruise on the lake to watch the sun set over the water.
7:00 PM: Dinner at the lodge, enjoying local flavours one last time.

Day 3: Matema Beach to Iringa

7:30am: Final breakfast by the lake to start your last day.
9:00-10:30am: Enjoy a last swim or just relax by the water.
10:30-11:30am: Check-out and drive back to Iringa.
1:00pm: Arrive back in Iringa, bringing an end to the trip with unforgettable memories.
