Get your passport ready, because this one’s special!
For 3 weeks you’ll be based in Iringa, getting involved in real community projects that actually matter. Think teaching in schools, running sports activities, supporting local day programs or helping at a school for the deaf. It’s hands-on, meaningful work in a place that quickly starts to feel familiar.
Outside of the projects, life is simple in the best way. You’ll spend time with the local community, share meals, laugh a lot with your group, and experience everyday Tanzania away from anything touristy.

And then there’s the safari. A three-day trip into Ruaha National Park, the biggest national park in Tanzania. You’ll head out in a 4x4, spot wildlife in their natural environment, and spend one night in a traditional banda and one night camping under the stars. Everything is organised, so you can just focus on the experience.

You’ll be working on community projects where your time genuinely makes a difference.
That could be teaching in a local school, supporting sports sessions for kids, assisting in day programs or helping out at a school for the deaf. The work is varied, but always grounded in the local community.
Iringa is welcoming and real. You’re not in a tourist hub, which means the experiences feel more authentic and grounded. Every day looks a little different, and that’s part of it.
This is the one people remember.
A 3 day safari through Ruaha National Park, Tanzania’s largest and one of its most untouched. You’ll travel with a guide, stay one night in a banda and one night camping inside the park.
Lions, elephants & giraffes… you’ll see wildlife up close in its natural environment. Everything is organised, from transport to meals, so you can just take it all in.

Iringa isn’t polished or touristy, and that’s exactly what makes it special.
It’s the small moments that stick. Playing sport with local kids, learning a bit of sign language, sitting around at night with your group talking about the day.
It’s a mix of volunteering, culture and adventure that feels real, not packaged.
This opportunity is a proper experience in the heart of Africa, one that you'll never forget.
